Hydraulic gear pumps have the ability to transforming energy and motion into hydraulic liquid motion. There is simple thinking behind the conversion – when force is applied on one piston, with the use of in-compressible fluid it is transmitted to other one. Fluid is not compressed but it is displaced when pressure is applied on it. The three main parts of Hydraulic pumps include – reservoir, pump and hydraulic cylinder.
Different types of Hydraulic pumps
Gear pumps :
Gear pump is most popular type using gears to regulate flow of fluid by displacement. Hydraulic gear pumps usually operate in silent way with high speed and pressure. It is widely accepted worldwide for various industrial and home applications. They are available at cost effective prices with leading manufacturers and exporters. However, you can also request for custom solutions but you have to pay extra for it.
Rotary vane pumps :
These are positive displacement hydraulic pumps. The pump is equipped with ring mounted over cylindrical base. The pump has plenty of radial slots and sliding vanes are located at the same place. The pumps are working on the principle of centrifugal principle. It will cause vane to be forced against cylinder walls.
Radial piston pump:
Generally this kinds of pumps are used for utmost high pressure but at less flows. If pressure is usually high up to 650 bard then this is normal. It is not possible for any variable displacement.
Axial piston pump:
There are wide range of axial piston pump available in market which includes swash plate, pump design, check ball etc., however the most common of these is the swash plate pump. Of all the pumps, the bent axis principle has the optimum principle. Here the working pressure is up to 350 bars while the displacement is 1 liter in per evolution..
